Jeffrey A Gray
Jeffrey Alan Gray (1934–2004) was a British research psychologist and professor emeritus at King's College, known for his biopsychological theory of personality and significant contributions to consciousness theory. He developed influential theories on consciousness as a 'late error detector' and argued that conscious perceptions function as signals created by unconscious processing. Gray was one of the most highly cited experimental psychologists in the UK and continued his research at Stanford University after his retirement.
