Jeff MacNelly

Jeffrey Kenneth MacNelly (1947-2000) was an acclaimed American editorial cartoonist who created the comic strips Shoe (1977), featuring bird characters, and Pluggers. He won Pulitzer Prizes for editorial cartooning in 1972, 1978, and 1985, becoming the youngest recipient at age 24 in 1972, and worked for the Richmond News-Leader and Chicago Tribune.[1][2][3]
