Jeff Lindsay

Jeff Lindsay, born Jeffry P. Freundlich, is an American playwright and crime novelist best known for creating the Dexter Morgan series, which features a sociopathic vigilante serial killer. His debut novel, Darkly Dreaming Dexter (2004), became a New York Times bestseller and inspired the popular television series Dexter. Lindsay has also written the Riley Wolfe novels and numerous plays, many of which are musicals produced in New York and abroad.
