Jeff Holmes

J.M. Holmes, born Jeff M. Holmes in Denver, Colorado, and raised in Rhode Island, is an American author known for his debut story collection *How Are You Going to Save Yourself*, published in 2018 by Little, Brown. He won the Burnett Howe prize for fiction at Amherst College, received fellowships including the Henfield prize and a Pushcart prize, and holds an MFA from the Iowa Writers' Workshop. His work has appeared in prestigious publications such as *The Paris Review*, *The New Yorker*, and *GQ*, with a debut novel forthcoming in 2025.[1][3]
