Jeff B Skinner

Jeffrey Skinner is an American poet, writer, playwright, and emeritus professor in the Department of English at the University of Louisville. He has published several poetry collections including *Sober Ghost* (2024), *Late Stars* (1985), and *A Guide to Forgetting* (1987, National Poetry Series winner), with poems appearing in prestigious journals like *The New Yorker* and *Poetry*. Skinner received a Guggenheim Fellowship in poetry in 2014 and an Arts and Letters Award in Literature in 2015, and serves as Chair of the Board for Sarabande Books.[4]
