Jeanne Willis
Jeanne Willis, born November 5, 1959, in St. Albans, Hertfordshire, England, trained as an advertising copywriter at Watford College of Art and worked in advertising before becoming a full-time children's book author and scriptwriter.[1][2] She has published over 80 books, including award-winners like Tadpole's Promise (Smarties Silver Medal) and Susan Laughs (Nasen Special Needs Award), and has written TV scripts for Polly Pocket and Dr. Xargle.[2][4] She lives in North London with her husband, an animator, and their two children.[1][2]
