Jean J. Labrosse
Jean J. Labrosse is a Canadian embedded systems engineer and author born in Montreal who designed the Micro-Controller Operating System (μC/OS) in 1991, a real-time operating system for microprocessors and embedded systems.[2] He founded Micriµm to commercialize μC/OS-II and has become a world-renowned lecturer, trainer, and author with close to 50 publications on embedded software and real-time operating systems.[1][5] Beyond his technical work, Labrosse is also a musician who learned drums and keys at 60 and formed the band JC Keysax.[4]
