Jean Hegland
Jean Hegland is an American novelist born in November 1956 in Pullman, Washington, known for her dystopian novel Into the Forest, which was adapted into a film and translated into over a dozen languages. She currently lives in Northern California with her husband, where she engages in beekeeping alongside her writing career. Her other works include the novels Windfalls and Still Time, as well as the nonfiction book The Life Within: Celebration of a Pregnancy.
