Jean Charlot
Jean Charlot was a French-born muralist, painter, book illustrator, and archaeologist known for his monumental frescoes influenced by Mayan art and his extensive work in Mexican muralism. He served in the French Army during World War I, later collaborated with artists like Diego Rivera in Mexico, and eventually moved to the United States, where he taught at the University of Hawaii and became a pioneer in color lithography.
