Jay Tepperman

Jay Tepperman was an emeritus professor of experimental medicine at SUNY Upstate Medical University at Syracuse, New York, and a recognized authority on biochemical endocrinology. He received an AB degree in English Literature from the University of Pennsylvania and an MD from Columbia College of Physicians and Surgeons. He joined the department of Pharmacology at SUNY Upstate in 1946 as an Associate Professor and was promoted to Professor in 1972, collaborating throughout his career with his wife, Dr. Helen M. Tepperman.
