Jason Mott

Jason Mott is an American novelist and poet born in Bolton, North Carolina. He holds a BFA in Fiction and an MFA in Poetry from the University of North Carolina at Wilmington, and is the author of novels including the New York Times bestseller The Returned (adapted into the TV series Resurrection) and Hell of a Book, which won the 2021 National Book Award for Fiction. He has also published two poetry collections and received numerous awards, including a 2024 National Endowment for the Arts Creative Writing Fellowship.[1][2][3][4][6][7]
