Jared M Diamond

Jared Mason Diamond is an American scientist, historian, and author known for books on human societies, evolution, and environmental change, including *Guns, Germs, and Steel* and *Collapse*. He has been a professor of geography at UCLA and has also worked in physiology, ecology, and ornithology.
