Janet Stephenson

Janet Rhona Stephenson (born 1955) is a New Zealand social scientist and research professor at the University of Otago, where she directs the Centre for Sustainability. Her work focuses on climate change, sustainability, and societal transition, with research spanning interdisciplinary and cross-cultural projects on landscape values, energy, transport, and environmental adaptation.
