Janet Eilber
Janet Eilber is an American modern dancer born on July 27, 1951, in Detroit, Michigan, who trained at the Juilliard School and became a principal dancer with the Martha Graham Dance Company, performing major roles created by Graham herself.[1][2][3] She has appeared in Broadway shows like Bob Fosse's *Dancing*, films such as *Whose Life Is It, Anyway?*, and co-founded the American Repertory Dance Company.[1] Since 2005, Eilber has served as Artistic Director of the Martha Graham Dance Company, innovating audience access through thematic programming, new media, and commissions.[2][5][6]
