Janet Burroway
Janet Burroway is an American author born in Tucson, Arizona, known for novels, plays, poetry, memoir, short stories, translations, and children's books. She is especially recognized for her widely used writing textbook *Writing Fiction* and for novels such as *The Buzzards*, which was nominated for the 1970 Pulitzer Prize.
