Jan Fearnley

Jan Fearnley, born in 1965 in South Shields, Tyne and Wear, England, studied graphic design in Newcastle and earned degrees in early childhood education and graphic art before working as a preschool and primary school teacher.[1][4][6] She transitioned to writing and illustrating children's books, creating popular titles like Mr Wolf's Pancakes, Little Robin Red Vest, and over 30 others, featuring anthropomorphic animals in engaging, colorful tales.[2][5] Now living in the Limousin region of France with her husband and various rescue animals, her books have sold over 300,000 copies in England.[1][2][7]
