James Webb

James Webb was an American government official and businessman who served as the second Administrator of NASA from 1961 to 1968. He played a crucial role in the early years of the U.S. space program, overseeing the Mercury and Gemini projects and laying the groundwork for the Apollo program. The James Webb Space Telescope, launched in 2021, is named in his honor.
