James W. Ceaser

James W. Ceaser is the Harry F. Byrd Professor of Politics at the University of Virginia, where he has taught since 1976, and director of the Program on Constitutionalism and Democracy.[1][2][3] He earned his Ph.D. from Harvard University and is a senior fellow at the Hoover Institution, renowned for his scholarship on American politics and political thought, authoring books such as Presidential Selection, Liberal Democracy and Political Science, and Nature and History in American Political Development.[2][3][4] Ceaser has held visiting positions at institutions including Oxford, Harvard, and the University of Bordeaux, and frequently contributes to the popular press on American politics.[2][3][5]
