James Muir
James Muir (1757–1820) was a Scottish-born American clergyman and author, known for his religious writings and his 1795 publication 'An Examination of the principles contained in the Age of Reason.' He was born in Cumnock, Scotland, educated in Edinburgh, and later served as a minister in Alexandria, Virginia, where he died in 1820.
