James Merrill

James Merrill was a Pulitzer Prize-winning American poet known for his elegant, intricate verse, including the epic 'The Changing Light at Sandover.' Born into a wealthy family, he published his first collection in 1946 and became a major figure in 20th-century poetry, spending much of his life in Greece and Connecticut.
