James McDiarmid

James McDiarmid (1855-1934) was a Scottish-born architect, building contractor, and naturalist who immigrated to Canada in 1883 and later settled in Winnipeg. In 1884, he became a partner in the construction firm Murray and McDiarmid, and he remained associated with building and civic life in Manitoba until his death.
