James Martin

James Joseph Martin Jr. is an American Jesuit priest, writer, and editor-at-large of America magazine, born in 1960. He is a New York Times bestselling author known for works on spirituality and Catholic faith, including The Jesuit Guide to (Almost) Everything and Jesus: A Pilgrimage. Martin serves as a consultant to the Vatican's Dicastery for Communications and founded Outreach, a nonprofit ministry to the LGBTQ Catholic community.
