James Holman

James Holman (1786–1857), known as the "Blind Traveller," was a British adventurer, author, and social observer who became famous for his extensive solo journeys despite being completely blind. He traveled across multiple continents, became the first blind person to circumnavigate the globe in 1832, and wrote several travel books based on his experiences.
