James Grabill

James Grabill is a Portland, Oregon-based writer and teacher who has published seven books of poems, two books of essays, and two poetry chapbooks, including the Oregon Book Award-winning 'Poem Rising Out of the Earth' [2][5]. He taught writing and global sustainability issues at Clackamas Community College and is now semi-retired while continuing to write and give public presentations [3][5]. His poems have appeared in numerous periodicals and online journals such as Calibanonline and The Decadent Review [3].
