James George Frazer
James George Frazer was a Scottish social anthropologist and folklorist, best known for his seminal work 'The Golden Bough', a comparative study of mythology and religion. His scholarly contributions profoundly influenced the fields of anthropology and comparative religion. He served as a fellow at Trinity College, Cambridge, and was knighted in 1914.
