James De Young

James B. De Young is a Senior Professor of New Testament Language and Literature at Western Seminary in Portland, Oregon, where he has taught since 1975 and retired in 2015. He holds a Th.M. from Talbot Theological Seminary and a Th.D. from Dallas Theological Seminary, and is the author of books including 'Burning Down 'The Shack'' and works on topics like homosexuality. He resides on a small farm in Damascus, Oregon.
