James D Richardson

James D. Richardson (1843–1914) was an American politician and Democrat from Tennessee who served as a U.S. Representative for Tennessee's 5th congressional district from 1885 to 1905 and was among the earliest U.S. House Minority Leaders. He was also a prominent turn-of-the-century Democratic leader, nationally recognized historian, and editor.
