James Corbett
Edward James Corbett (1875–1955) was an Anglo-Indian hunter and author best known for hunting man-eating tigers and leopards in Northern India, which he documented in his bestselling 1944 memoir Man-Eaters of Kumaon. In his later years, he became a pioneering conservationist, helping establish India's first national park, Jim Corbett National Park, named in his honor.
