James Carrick Moore
James Carrick Moore (1762–1860) was a skilled Scottish surgeon and writer who became a leading advocate for vaccination and pain relief in surgery. He was a close supporter of Edward Jenner and served as director of the National Vaccine Establishment after Jenner's death.
