James and Ledwidge, Michael Patterson

Michael S. Ledwidge is an American author from the Bronx, New York, best known for his collaborations with James Patterson on the Michael Bennett series, the highest-selling New York City detective series with 20 million copies in print. Their first joint novel, Step on a Crack (2005), introduced NYPD detective Michael Bennett, an Irish American father of ten, amid a terrorist crisis. He has written 17 novels, many New York Times bestsellers, and lives in Connecticut.
