James Adams
James Truslow Adams was an American historian and writer, best known for popularizing the phrase 'American Dream' in his 1931 book The Epic of America. He achieved acclaim with his three-volume history of New England (1921–1926), winning the Pulitzer Prize for the first volume, The Founding of New England, in 1922. After retiring from business at age 34, he authored numerous works and edited major reference volumes on American history.
