Jaime Correa

Jaime Correa is an Associate Professor in Practice and Director of the Bachelor Program in Architecture at the University of Miami School of Architecture, where he previously directed the Master in Urban Design Program from 1996 to 2014 and served as Knight Professor in Community Building.[2][4][5] He is a key figure in the American New Urbanism movement, one of its promoters in Latin America and a significant critic, and has served as a Climate Reality Mentor under Al Gore from 2013-2017.[5] His professional firm focuses on innovative urban design practices including bottom-up urbanism, generative codes, and incremental master planning.[5]
