Jacqueline Susann

Jacqueline Susann was an American novelist and actress best known for her blockbuster novel Valley of the Dolls (1966), which became one of the best-selling books in publishing history. With The Love Machine (1969) and Once Is Not Enough (1973), she became the first author to place three consecutive novels at No. 1 on The New York Times bestseller list.
