Jacqueline Dembar Greene
Jacqueline Dembar Greene is an American author of over forty picture books, historical novels, and nonfiction titles, many with Jewish themes. Born in Hartford, Connecticut, she worked as a French teacher and newspaper journalist before becoming a full-time writer in 1980. Her works include historical novels set in various American periods and locations, such as Out of Many Waters about the first Jewish settlement in America and Walk Till You Disappear set in 19th century Arizona.
