Jacob Grimm

Jacob Grimm (1785–1863) was a German linguist, philologist, and author who, together with his brother Wilhelm, compiled the famous collection 'Grimm's Fairy Tales.' He is also renowned for formulating Grimm's Law in historical linguistics and for his foundational work in Germanic philology and folklore studies.
