Jack Halifax
Jack Wong is a Canadian children's author and illustrator born in Hong Kong and raised in Vancouver, British Columbia. In 2010, he left his career as a bridge engineer to pursue a Bachelor of Fine Arts at NSCAD University in Halifax, Nova Scotia, where he has lived since. He won the Governor General's Award for English-language children's illustration in 2023 for *When You Can Swim* and the Ann Connor Brimer Award in 2024 for *The Words We Share*.[1][3][8]
