Jabari Asim
Jabari Asim is an American author, poet, playwright, and professor of writing, literature and publishing at Emerson College in Boston. Born in St. Louis, Missouri, he has authored six books for adults and nine books for children, with works engaging themes of racism, social justice, and current events. He served as editor-in-chief of The Crisis magazine, the NAACP's flagship journal, and was an editor at the Washington Post for 11 years.
