J. V. Jones
J.V. Jones is a renowned author of dark fantasy and grimdark fiction, best known for her epic fantasy Book of Words trilogy released in the 1990s, which earned praise from Robert Jordan as a striking work.[1] She followed this with the grittier Sword of Shadows series, comprising A Cavern of Black Ice (1999), A Fortress of Grey Ice (2002), A Sword from Red Ice (2007), and Watcher of the Dead (2010).[1]
