J. Paterson Smyth

J. Paterson Smyth (John Paterson Smyth, 1852–1932) was an Anglican priest, theologian, and prolific Christian writer from Ireland. He served in the Church of Ireland, including roles as Rector and professor of pastoral theology, and later continued his ministry and writing in Canada. He is best known for devotional and Bible-study works such as 'How We Got Our Bible' and 'The Book of Genesis' in the Bible for School and Home series.
