J Michael Straczynski

J. Michael Straczynski is an American filmmaker, comic book writer, and television producer best known as the creator of the science fiction series Babylon 5 (1993–1998), its spinoff Crusade (1999), and co-creator of Sense8 (2015–2018) with the Wachowskis.[1][4] A prolific writer across television, comics, novels, and film, he has worked on Marvel and DC comics, contributed to the screenplay for Thor, and authored books including the autobiography Becoming Superman (2019) and novels like Together We Will Go (2021).[1][2] He began his career as a journalist and has received awards such as the Hugo, Eisner, and Saturn Awards.[4]
