J. Kelley Sowards

J. Kelley Sowards, full name Jesse Kelley Sowards, was a historian and editor known for his work on Western civilization. He edited and contributed to 'Makers of the Western Tradition: Portraits from History,' a collection of biographical essays published in multiple editions from 1979 to 1991. Sowards authored or edited at least 33 books, with his works focusing on historical portraits and Western historical traditions.
