J. Ellis Paul

Ellis Paul is an American singer-songwriter and folk musician born in Fort Kent, Maine, who is a key figure in the Boston school of songwriting and helped ignite the folk revival of the 1990s[3]. Based in Massachusetts, he has been called the quintessential Boston songwriter and has released 20 studio albums, including The Storyteller’s Suitcase in 2019[1][3]. His music bridges modern folk sound with the populist traditions of Woody Guthrie and Pete Seeger, with songs appearing in movies and on television[3].
