J. Cone

James Hal Cone was an American theologian best known for founding black liberation theology. His seminal works, including 'Black Theology and Black Power' and 'A Black Theology of Liberation', argued that God identifies with the oppressed and that Christian theology must be rooted in the Black experience. He taught at Union Theological Seminary in New York for over four decades.
