J. C. Suares

Jean-Claude Suares (1942–2013) was an artist, illustrator, editor, and creative consultant known for his work with publications like The New Yorker and as the first Op-Ed art director at The New York Times.[2][3] He contributed to numerous books and magazines, blending illustration with editorial design.[1][3] Suares passed away suddenly in Englewood, New Jersey, from a rare bacterial infection at age 71.[2][4]
