Izabela Jedrzejczyk
Izabela Jedrzejczyk, commonly anglicized as Isabella Jedrzejczyk, is a British documentary photographer known for her work on lives and landscapes in the North East of England. Born in London, she studied at Nottingham Trent University under Thomas Joshua Cooper, Paul Hill, and Raymond Moore, then moved to Newcastle in 1977 to work at Side Gallery and join the Amber Collective alongside Chris Killip and Graham Smith. Renowned for her landscape photography before 1980, she created the notable 'Jungle Portraits' series and now lives near Carlisle, Cumbria.
