Ivan Foletti
Ivan Foletti is a Czech-Swiss art historian born on November 17, 1980, in Prague, specializing in the historiography of Byzantine art and the art of Milan, Rome, and Constantinople during Late Antiquity and the Early Middle Ages[2][7]. He holds positions as a professor at Masaryk University in Brno and as an assistant professor at the University of Lausanne, where he directs research on relics, images, and ethnic groups in Early Medieval Lombardy[3][5]. Foletti is the editor of the journal Convivium and has authored or edited twelve scientific monographs and various other books[5].
