Ivan Bratko
Ivan Bratko is a Slovenian computer scientist and professor at the Faculty of Computer and Information Science, University of Ljubljana, renowned for his pioneering work in artificial intelligence, machine learning, and computer chess. He founded the AI Laboratory at the university in 1985 and directed the AI group at Jožef Stefan Institute until 2002, co-designing the Bratko-Kopec Test in 1982. Author of the widely used textbook 'Prolog Programming for Artificial Intelligence' and over 200 publications, he is a Fellow of EurAI and member of the Slovene Academy of Sciences and Arts.
