Isak Dinesen

Isak Dinesen was the pen name of Karen Blixen, a renowned Danish author celebrated for her memoir 'Out of Africa' and her collection of short stories 'Seven Gothic Tales'. Born into nobility in Denmark, she lived in colonial Kenya managing a coffee plantation before returning to Europe to pursue her literary career in English and Danish.
