Irwin W. Sherman

Irwin W. Sherman was an American biology professor, author, and malaria researcher known for his decades-long career at the University of California, Riverside and later at the Scripps Research Institute and UC San Diego. His work focused on the biochemistry and molecular biology of malaria parasites, and he also wrote popular science books about infectious diseases and microbes.
