Irwin Hasen
Irwin Hasen (1918-2015) was an American cartoonist and comic-book artist best known for co-creating and illustrating the syndicated comic strip 'Dondi' from 1955 to 1986, which featured a World War II orphan and appeared in over 100 newspapers. He began his career in the 1940s drawing for characters like Flash, Green Lantern, and Green Hornet, and earlier worked on 'The Goldbergs' adaptation. In 2009, he published his autobiography 'Loverboy', including a graphic memoir.
